In November 2018 the first of two FCS flight inspection aircraft was equipped with a new ADS-B Version 2 (DO-260B) function, mandatory in 2020, as well as with a cockpit synthetic vision display. First tests revealed this to be especially useful in the alpine operational environments of FCS in Switzerland and in Austria. The second aircraft will obtain the same upgrade in December.
